Cells within the data table have different states to show what are confirmed (what you have manually linked) and unconfirmed (what has been linked automatically). You can also manually change a cell to unconfirmed if you need to check the information at a later date.

Manually entered kits

When you create and manually select the kits these cells will be confirmed (white colour with non-italic text). No further confirmation is needed for this cell.

Auto linked kits

When you manually link a kit to an item, Countfire will automatically link that kit to all items with the same name within the estimate.

The linked cells are shown as unconfirmed (peach colour with italic text) until you have confirmed you are happy with them.

Auto linked kits from previous projects

Auto linking occurs when Countfire automatically links kits from your previous projects.

These cells are shown as unconfirmed (peach colour with italic text) until you have confirmed you are happy with them.

Manually change from confirmed to unconfirmed

Certain cells can be switched from confirmed to unconfirmed manually by pressing the space bar. This is useful when you are unsure about any data within the kit and want to come back to it at a later date.
